• Germany

  Public universities charge a semester contribution rather than commercial tuition, with particular strength in engineering, technology and science. Post-study stay arrangements are set by the German authorities and change.

  An English-speaking EU member state. Google, Meta, Apple and Microsoft all run European operations from Dublin, which makes Ireland a common choice for tech and business graduates. A post-study stay-back route exists; the rules are set by the Irish authorities and change.

  A Muslim-majority country hosting branch campuses of UK and Australian universities, at lower cost than studying in the home country — with halal food and mosques widely available.

• Turkey

  Affordable education in a Muslim-majority country with long-standing cultural ties to Pakistan. The Turkish government runs a national scholarship programme open to international students.

• France

  Grandes écoles and public universities covering business, arts and engineering, with a growing number of programmes taught in English and low public-university fees.

  English-taught Master's programmes in technology and business, in a small, high-trust country. A post-study residence route exists; the rules are set by the Finnish Immigration Service and change.
