Sitting IELTS in Karachi
There are IELTS test centres in Karachi, so you do not need to travel to sit the test. Since March 2026 every IELTS in Pakistan is computer-delivered, which in the larger cities has meant sittings several times a week rather than monthly. Book directly with the British Council or IDP — we do not book tests on your behalf and we do not resell them.
Where you give biometrics
Karachi is one of only 4 cities in Pakistan with a UK visa application centre — the others are Islamabad, Lahore, Mirpur. Applying to the UK from Karachi, you can give biometrics without leaving the city.
Requirements and fees are set by UK Visas and Immigration and change; we check them against the government source at the time you apply rather than quoting them here.
